Scotland is home to thousands of castles,  historic churches, mansion houses and monuments.   So much of Scotland's history is found within these walls.  From battles between clans, to battles between countries, from churches to memorials and statues, these amazing feats of architecture have stood strong throughout hundreds of years and they are a common sight amidst the gorgeous landscape of Scotland.

In addition to the historic buildings, Scotland boasts some extraordinary modern architecture.   As I travel around our wonderful countryside, I hope to capture the old and new whilst learning the history behind the architecture.  I hope to capture the atmosphere, mystery and essence of these spectacular buildings.
